A Wild Aussie: The journey of a wildlife camerawoman

Filming at the Somerset Coastal Conference

Today, myself and a fabulous crew from the MA Wildlife Filmmaking drove into the beautiful english countryside to cover the Somerset Coastal Conference. The conference was aimed at the community to raise awareness and build the funds needed to protect the local coastline and its many species.

We worked as a tight team to record interviews and pieces to camera with Naturalist, Author and Producer, Stephen Moss and other conference guests and experts. It was fun to practise interviewing and being able to capture action as it happened. I also loved hearing about the many and varied species that are found along the Somerset Coastline. I am keen to film a short-eared owl or maybe even an albatross, if I am very lucky!
